Air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from outside through the vent, and combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Windows and doors can stay closed because no room air is used for combustion. For additional safety, the pilot has a built-in pressure regulator that completely stops the flow of gas in the event the pilot is extinguished. This wall furnace is designed to heat up to 375 square feet and has an 11,000 BTU input. This model is only for propane gas installations and is incompatible with natural gas.
