These specially designed hollow needles are a key component to Coravin’s technology. Made of Teflon-coated stainless steel, this thinner needle is gentler on fragile corks from older, vintage bottles. The smaller gauge results in a slightly slower pour than the standard needle. The vintage needle is identified by the silver color band at the base of the grip.
